Almost all of the Ace Attorney games are now accessible in one location thanks to Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy, which delivers three additional excellent Ace Attorney games to modern systems. The best possible experience can be had while playing through each of these classics thanks to this fantastic collection, which offers a ton of extra content.
It has been a long time coming for the last three Ace Attorney games to be released on consoles. Some of my friends discovered the series later than I did because they were unable to play the later games on a console following the closure of the 3DS eShop. This was unfortunate for me because I really enjoy the games that are part of Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy, and the 3DS screen is getting small. I also wanted to play the games again. The three have finally made their console debut, and they are all equally magnificent.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney-Dual Destinies, Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney-Spirit of Justice make up this trilogy. Although the main plots of these three games revolve around Phoenix and Apollo, there are many more noteworthy characters that are also included in the suspenseful tales. It’s the definitive collection of these games because it includes most of the DLC episodes and outfits, and the stories are just as captivating and thrilling as they were on the Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS.
For both newcomers and players of the trilogy, the option to choose individual episodes and chapters from the outset is a great way to tailor the experience. It’s important to note that the Accolades section provides instructions on how to obtain particular awards in each game, making trophy hunting easier for fans of accomplishments and trophies.
It’s a little more shocking to play these three games so quickly after one another because Phoenix is a different, more subdued character in Apollo Justice—a change I’ve always found fascinating—before reverting to his silly self in Dual Destinies. Having said that, he remains endearing, so this doesn’t particularly hurt the next two games. New players should be aware that, despite the title, Apollo isn’t actually the primary character in any of the collection’s games beyond the first one. However, he’s still around, so I suppose it’s a moot point.
Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy has incredibly clear graphics and sound, especially for games from the last two generations of Nintendo handhelds. Although my nostalgia for the pixel style is strong, Apollo Justice scales to TVs better thanks to its graphical style, which is reminiscent of the remastered Ace Attorney titles. The other two games’ 3D models are excellent and comparable to the 2021 Great Ace Attorney collection.
The Museum, which is stuffed to the gills with treasures, is a prominent feature of the collection. At your leisure, you may view concept art, watch films and cutscenes, and listen to excellent tunes from all three games. The studio, which allows you to create your own mini scenes using models and character drawings, is a terrific addition. You have a lot of possibilities if you want a character from any game to do any of their speech lines or animations against different backgrounds. It’s entertaining to play about with in between games, but I’m sure the Ace Attorney fandom will utilize this in absurd shitposts for a long time to come.

Summary: The greatest version of the last three mainstream Ace Attorney games can be found in Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy, which is a delightfully rich compilation that both fans and beginners should check out. The collection of games features plenty of eye-catching twists and turns along with stylish additions. If only we could get the two Ace Attorney Investigations games combined into one compilation.
