Sihoo Doro’s S100 makes a statement with its large packaging and heavy weight. The assembly is also unexpectedly complex, having more pieces than you’d anticipate. Fortunately, a palm-grip alan wrench is included, making screwing and attaching components easy and quick.
The instructions are in many languages, and the container holding the washers and bolts is labeled for simple identification. The manual is solely useful for determining which bolts are used on which parts. Aside from that, the guide’s terrible pictures make it ineffective. Fortunately, it is not a difficult chair to assemble and takes approximately 30 minutes.
Sitting on the S100, I realized how dissatisfied I had been with every chair I had previously had. For most of my life, I’ve utilized inexpensive swivel chairs with no armrests and built of lightweight, low-cost materials. They are usually unbalanced and prone to tipping.
The spring-loaded shocks are attached to the lowest dorsal area of the chair, providing maximum lumbar support while changing and securely clinging onto any body form. When combined with the breathable elastic mesh that keeps you cool, the back cushion feels pleasant and will prevent long-term concerns for people who sit a lot.
The backrest and neck support are adjustable to fit both adults and toddlers. The height may be modified, and the piston makes a pleasant hiss sound when it drops or lifts. The mass and weight of the wheel spokes are robust and fanned out enough to prevent tipping. The chair is solidly built and appears to be long-lasting.
The seat cushion is comprised of the same stretched mesh that bounces, relieving pressure on the spine. The maximum reclining angle is roughly 135 degrees, which feels excellent when lying on top of the spring supports. Tilting back is comfortable enough to have a nap or relax while watching movies.
The only issue I had with the S100 was with the armrests. While they are made of a durable yet spongy material that feels pleasant, their adjustability is too loose. They have a tendency to swivel around and act independently. I would have preferred a locking device to secure them in place.
The armrests may be quickly lowered or lifted and snapped into position. It’s a bad this wasn’t implemented to their swiveling mechanism, because a more stable resting position would be more useful to me.
The S100 comes in two colors: elegant white and executive black. I received the black model, which has a majestic presence with flowing curves and outlines. The chrome highlights and matte black finishes complement the specular mesh materials, which appear transparent from a distance. This is a sophisticated chair that sparked the realization that I had been neglecting my posture.
If you’re anything like me and spend a lot of time playing video games, it’s well worth investing in a high-end office chair like Doro Sihoo’s S100. This piece of furniture is not only amazingly strong, but also really comfy. I observed a difference right away, and I now believe there is no going back.
Aside from being cool-looking, comfy, and good for my back, sitting in it makes me feel more awake. I usually lie down on a couch and fall asleep after hours of gaming. This is not the case when you sit upright on an ergonomically built chair. I feel more focused and productive now that my posture has been adjusted, since the moving pieces support and relieve strain in my lower back.
This really is the perfect chair. It will last a lifetime, and while the armrests aren’t as functional as I’d want, they’d be acceptable for any light person or little child.
Sihoo Doro’s S100 is ideal for long-term gaming, computer work, or a workstation. Classic executive black is always a good choice, but the white model has its own appeal.
